Versatile Performance in Challenging Environments

Designed for versatility, this pneumatic ball valve operates seamlessly in water treatment plants, oil & gas refineries, and fluid handling systems. Its robust construction and superior sealing provide reliable operation and leak prevention in demanding industrial settings.

Advanced Automation Solutions

Integrating with industrial automation platforms is simple and efficient due to the valves compatibility with common electric voltages and actuator pin configurations. Position feedback options further enable precise remote control, essential for modern process management.

FAQs of Pneumatic Act Ball Valve:

Q: How is the Pneumatic Actuated Ball Valve typically installed in industrial automation systems?

A: The valve is installed between pipe sections using flanged, screwed, or socket weld connections. Actuators are connected according to system power requirements, ensuring proper electrical interface for solenoid operation and position feedback within automation setups.

Q: What types of media can this valve control, and which applications is it best suited for?

A: This valve is suitable for controlling water, air, oil, gas, and various chemicals. It is widely used in fluid control systems, water treatment facilities, pneumatic process lines, and oil & gas operations due to its compatibility with corrosive and non-corrosive media.

Q: When should a 2-pin or 3-pin actuator be selected for use with this ball valve?

A: The choice depends on control and feedback needs. Use the 2-pin actuator for basic open-close functionality, and the 3-pin variant when position feedback is required, facilitating enhanced automation and system monitoring.

Q: Where can the Pneumatic Actuated Ball Valve operate reliably in terms of pressure and size ranges?

A: This valve can handle pressures up to 16 bar (232 PSI) and is available in sizes from DN15 to DN100 (1/2 to 4 inches), making it versatile for small-to-medium scale industrial pipelines throughout factories, plants, and utility infrastructure.

Q: What is the process for maintaining the valves sealing integrity and ensuring long service life?

A: Regular inspection and replacement of PTFE or reinforced PTFE seals are advised. Routine cleaning and lubrication of moving parts, as well as monitoring actuator performance, contribute to prolonged durability and optimal leak prevention.

Q: How does using stainless steel or carbon steel construction benefit operations in corrosive environments?

A: SS304 and SS316 stainless steel ensure excellent corrosion resistance, vital for chemical processing and water treatment. Carbon steel provides superior mechanical strength for general industrial applications, resulting in enhanced reliability and lifespan.
